Education Background

Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary
Bachelor of Arts from Yonsei University in Korea

Pastor Young Soo Kim moved from South Korea to the United States in 2012 to pursue his seminary degree in Dallas. In 2017, he and his wife, along with their two children, moved to Austin, where they have been serving the Lord’s Church of Austin ever since.

At the heart of Young Soo’s calling is a simple desire: to receive Jesus’ love deeply and, out of that love, care for His sheep. His passion for evangelism and discipleship has also grown through years of campus ministry, where he has had the opportunity to build relationships with international students from many different cultural and religious backgrounds. Through these relationships, he has seen the joy of helping people encounter Jesus, grow as His disciples, and become part of His mission.
